The company was first introduced by Sears in the mid 1980’s. Then became a part of Dean Witter then in 1997 Dean Witter merged with Morgan Stanley and in 2007 Discover® Financial Services went independent.
The Discover® brand has become a household name. They have over 50 million card members and more than 4 million merchant and cash locations.

They have won many awards one of the most notable being the 2008 World Class Customer Satisfaction Award.
This was based upon call center satisfaction and measured by Service Quality Measurement Group, Inc.
We have all experienced the frustration of being on a call with a less than helpful call center rep. And when it comes to your finances they is very important!
Additionally they were ranked as a leader in 2008 in Identity Safety. A growing problem in our society.
We expect big things from them in the future. In July 1, 2008 they purchased the Diners Club network from Citi for $165 million dollars.
They purchased the Diners Club because it has a large international network. They have a large North American network.
They will merge the two and your Discover® card will be accepted at more locations overseas. However they will not issue the Diners Club cards just run the network (accepting the card).
We enthusiastically suggest all Discover® Credit Cards. To contact them visit
